Columbia Arbitration Day 2023

Columbia Arbitration Day is the largest annual event by the Columbia International Arbitration Association, the only student association at Columbia Law School focusing exclusively on international arbitration. After two virtual editions, Columbia Arbitration Day is scheduled to return to an in-person format on Friday, 14 April 2023.

The theme of this year’s Columbia Arbitration Day is Arbitration Beyond the Box: New Innovations & Perspectives. the event will feature panels discussing ESG arbitration, Belt-and-Road disputes, and domestic judges on international arbitration. Special highlights include: retired Justice Stephen G. Breyer will be a guest to talk about the Supreme Court's legacy in arbitration, and Meg Kinnear (Secretary General of ICSID) will discuss institutional innovation with Anna Joubin-Bret (Secretary of UNCITRAL).
