DIS40 Zurich: My first arbitrator appointment – nothing to worry about (?)

DIS40-Event

You have made it and received your first arbitrator appointment! But what do you do if the parties are not responsive? What if the parties’ counsel have little experience with arbitration? Where can you get support?

The next DIS40 Zurich event will focus on the challenges that a first arbitrator appointment can bring and the tools with which they can best be mastered. We will discuss with Alain Grieder and Mimoza Ademaj, about common issues first-time arbitrators may face and will learn from Chun-Kyung Paulus Suh to what extent the arbitral institution can offer assistance. The discussion will be moderated by Sophie Bühler.

The event is aimed at all young practitioners who are interested in acting as an arbitrator or who have already acted as such themselves.

We look forward to an insightful discussion and to hearing also about your experience!

After the event and apéro offered by CMS, there will be an optional dinner in a nearby restaurant (at your own expense).
