Joint Event of Practice Group Settlement and DAA/DIA/DIS Arbitration Group: Settlement Facilitation in Nordic Countries

DIS-Event

09. Jan 2024

Organizer: Practice Group Settlement and DAA/DIA/DIS Arbitration Group

As part of the 2018 DIS Arbitration Rules Clinic, the practice group on Settlement Facilitation has dedicated itself to the distinctive feature of the 2018 DIS Arbitration Rules: early conflict resolution. The promotion of settlements is one of its pillars. The practice group analyzes the different approaches to settlement facilitation in foreign jurisdictions.

The practice group has already held several interactive sessions with thought leaders such as David Rivkin, Edna Sussman, Klaus Peter Berger, Karl Mackie, Christopher Newmark, Mariel Dimsey, Stefan Kröll and others and is now continuing this series in a joint event together with the DAA/DIA/DIS Arbitration Group (Denmark).

We are delighted that Lotte Eskesen, Mikal Brondmo and Robin Oldenstam will be speaking on the topic “Settlement Facilitation in Nordic Countries” on our next event.
