My career

  • Sophie is a German Attorney, admitted to the Berlin Bar since 2022. She joined WAGNER Arbitration in 2021 after spending part of her legal traineeship with the firm. Prior to her traineeship, she worked for Alexander Graf Lambsdorff, MP, with a focus on European and foreign policy and as research assistant to Prof. Dr. Anne Peters, director of the Max-Planck-Institute for comparative public law and international law in Heidelberg. Additionally, she interned at a leading business law firm in Berlin and with the legal department of the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) in Rome.
  • University of Heidelberg, Università degli Studi Roma Tre (Rome, Italy) and Humboldt University of Berlin (German law degree) with a specialization in public international law and European law; participation in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court; clerk and trainee advocate with the Higher Regional Court of Berlin and the European Commission in Brussels; Berlin Bar Examination in 2021; formative nine years of high school at the German School in Washington, D.C., USA (German Abitur and U.S. High School Diploma) and one school semester in Santiago de Chile.
