20 November 2025, New York

Three years ago, our new annual series of DIS@events started in the Big Apple! On 20 November 2025, the DIS marked its third time at New York Arbitration Week with a lively exchange including speakers from the US, Canada, Brazil, India, the Netherlands and Germany and an equally geographically wide-ranging audience on the challenges and opportunities of wind farm projects.

This time, we had a lively exchange with speakers from the US, Canada, Brazil, India, the Netherlands and Germany and an equally broadly spread audience on the challenges and opportunities of wind farm projects that are proliferating across the globe at fast pace.  We learned a lot and shared our German experiences in the best spirit of a global collaboration. Watch this space for what will happen in 2026!

We thank our Speakers Guilherme Rizzo Amaral (Souto Correa), Shouvik Bhattacharya (King & Spalding), James Boykin (DIS), Malik Havalic (Hughes Hubbard Reed), Ryan Lax (Torys), Gerard Meijer (Linklaters), Georg Scherpf (Luther), Jan K. Schäfer (DIS) and Johanna Wirth (DIS), for sharing their experiences. Special thanks goes to Hughes Hubbard & Reed for hosting our event.
