DIS@Bucharest: DIScover Settlement Facilitation in Arbitration

DIS-Event

The German Arbitration Institute or the DIS (Deutsche Institution für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit e.V.), Germany’s leading arbitration institution since 1920, is coming to Bucharest for an event presenting the Arbitration Rules of DIS with a focus on settlement facilitation in international arbitration.

The programme of the event features:

  • an introduction of the DIS, the DIS Arbitration Rules and the DIS Case Management;
  • an overview of the benefits of the DIS Arbitration Rules and its Alternative Dispute Resolution Toolbox for international and CEE-related disputes and
  • a panel discussion with arbitration practitioners from Romania and the neighbouring region exploring mechanisms in the DIS Arbitration Rules designed to facilitate amicable settlements.

Join us for an afternoon of practical learning and networking with professionals from Romania and abroad.

The event is organized by the DIS, the DIS40 (below40 organization of the DIS), YRAP (Young Romanian Arbitration Practitioners) and hosted by Mușat & Asociații.
