What are the challenges of windfarm disputes? The recent DIS@London event on 3 April 2025, just before the IBA Arbitration Day, gave some answers from different perspectives.
We were very happy to have Kai-Uwe Karl from our Users’ Council on the panel. His inside views were complemented by views from external counsel of various jurisdictions from the United Kingdom, Denmark, France, Taiwan, Singapore and Germany.
The DIS administers numerous cases in the field, which is particularly prone to disputes. It is also a topic that keeps many of our members busy, meaning that an exchange with peers is a good way to learn more about the topic, which is the goal of our series of events in conjunction with major international arbitration events.
