DIS40 Frankfurt: Mediation proceedings – the beginning of a new era of conflict resolution?

DIS40-Event

23. Nov 2021

Organizer: DIS40 Frankfurt

The major arbitral institutions increasingly offer mediation procedures and have mediation rules in place. Arbitration clauses frequently provide for multiple binding steps of alternative dispute resolution and parties (and lawyers) are getting tired of lengthy and costly arbitration proceedings. Therefore we ask: Is it time for the arbitration community to bring mediation to the center of its attention or give it a higher priority?

Together with our brilliant speakers Bill Marsh and Felix Wendenburg and our experienced moderator Benita von Fritsch bridging both worlds, we will virtually explore the application, potential and perspectives of mediation in the UK and Germany.

We will gain exciting insights into the individual mediation practice and research of our speakers as well as the legal and actual framework of mediation processes.

Let’s discover the up-to-date topic together!
