The DIS elected a new Advisory Board at its general assembly following the DIS Spring Conference on 12 May in Leipzig. Assembly members elected all 20 candidates proposed by the Advisory Board, to replace the previous board, which had fulfilled its regular four-year term.
By appointing new members to the Advisory Board, DIS is fulfilling its commitment to ensuring that the various stakeholder groups important to DIS are appropriately involved. The new Advisory Board brings together expertise from the worlds of business, academia, the judiciary, politics, sport, institutions and associations, as well as from the field of alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
The DIS Advisory Board advises and supports the Board of Directors on all matters of particular importance, particularly regarding the budget and membership fee regulations, as well as on major projects. It usually meets at least once a year and elects a chairperson and a deputy at its first meeting.
On 11 June 2026, the members of the Advisory Board elected at their first meeting Joachim Münch as chairman and Karsten Grillitsch as deputy chairman from among their ranks.
The following individuals were elected (in alphabetical order).
We look forward to working with the new DIS Advisory Board and to the impetus that its members will bring. At the same time, we would like to express our sincere thanks to the previous members for their great commitment.
Best wishes go to the DIS Advisory Board for a successful and inspiring term of office.
We look forward to four years of successful collaboration.
