The Secretary General of DIS was elected to the Board of Trustees of IRZ on 3 November 2025 – an important step and a great honour.
DIS brings strong and well-established connections to many countries of particular relevance to IRZ. This includes, in particular, close relationships with ADR institutions worldwide, built on long-standing cooperation and further strengthened through DIS’s active role within IFCAI.
In addition, DIS maintains excellent links with universities and the next generation of practitioners. DIS is among the organisers of the FDI Moot Court and has long-standing ties with the Vis Moot. In this context, DIS has also continued the involvement of GIZ and IRZ in the Pre-Moot. This cooperation proved especially valuable in the successful Ukraine project and provides a strong foundation for replicating similar initiatives together with IRZ in other countries.
DIS looks forward to contributing these networks and experiences to the work of the Board of Trustees and to further strengthening its collaboration with IRZ.
