What is your role at the DIS?

As HR-Manager, Office Manager for the Berlin location, and Management Assistant, I am responsible for personnel matters, organize and coordinate administrative and structural processes at the Berlin location, and support the management. My responsibilities include, in particular, personnel management, the further development of internal processes and structures, site organization, as well as the preparation of content and organization for topics arising for management. 

What path led you to the DIS?

My path to DIS was shaped by my passion for organization, structure, and working with people. In my previous professional positions in human resources and office management, I realized how important clear processes, reliable structures, and close cooperation with management are. At DIS, I found the opportunity to combine precisely these experiences and take on responsibility in a central position, both for the employees and for the further development of the location.

What do you particularly appreciate about your work?

What I particularly appreciate about my work is the variety and the opportunity to play an active role in shaping it. I enjoy working at the interface between people, processes, and strategic decisions. I am motivated by creating structures that make everyday work easier, supporting employees, and working with management to drive developments forward.

What motivates you?

I am motivated by taking on responsibility and actively helping to shape things. I draw a lot of energy from improving structures, making processes more efficient, and thereby noticeably reducing the workload for both employees and management. 

How would you describe the DIS in three key words?

I would describe DIS with three keywords: committed, forward-looking, and collaborative.
Committed, because we work with a high level of responsibility and dedication.
Forward-looking, because we actively shape developments.
Collaborative, because cooperation and mutual support play a central role in our work.

Creating structure is a real strength of mine, not only professionally but also personally.
