In a lively and informed discussion on 19 November 2025, panellists highlighted the key areas of cooperation between lawyers and experts in arbitration proceedings during an event organised by the DIS Munich Regional Group on the topic of ‘Fundamentals of Successful Cooperation in Arbitration Proceedings'. Topics ranged from selection and appointment to the preparation of sound expert opinions, to the precise handling of expert statements.
A big thank you to our panellists, Susanne Schwalb (CMS), Andreas Markowski (Siemens Energy), Peter Matthias Trick (Deloitte) and Günther Heß (railistics). Tim Schreiber (A/L/M Partners) guided the discussion with a sure hand and clear structure. The subsequent exchange with the audience was particularly enriching, ideally complementing the perspectives of our panellists and impressively underlining the practical relevance of the topic.
The evening was rounded off with an excellent selection of food and drinks, which provided an opportunity for in-depth discussions and networking.
Our thanks go to all the panellists, the moderator, the participants, Deloitte and our host Irina Novikova for her wonderful hospitality. We look forward to continuing the dialogue – and to further shared insights into best practices in arbitration proceedings.
