Arbitration practitioners from Germany, Europe, and beyond came together in the capital city of Berlin to discuss the role of arbitration amid global challenges and the rapid transformation of the legal landscape Practitioners and academics from 8-11 September 2025 for the fourth annual Berlin Dispute Resolution Days.

Since its inception in 2022, the Berlin Dispute Resolution Days have established themselves as a central platform for international exchange on dispute resolution in Germany. Organized by the German Arbitration Institute (DIS) and its below40 initiative (DIS40), in collaboration with Humboldt University of Berlin and independent practitioners, the Berlin Dispute Resolution Days have grown tremendously, becoming more international and larger in terms of the number of events and participants, with roughly 600 participants from 20 countries across various continents.
